Our Story

Matthews was founded by Paddy and Mary Matthews in 1995 in Inniskeen.

What began as a family business has grown into one of Ireland’s leading passenger transport operators. While our services and fleet have expanded, our approach has remained the same: look after our passengers and provide a safe, reliable and welcoming journey.

Today, Matthews carries thousands of passengers between the northeast and Dublin every day. Our team continues to bring the care of a family-run business to every service we operate.
